Nashville, Tennessee, March 27, 2007 – Paul Cardel, Jr. , owner of Phoenix Aerial Photography, Inc., the premier aerial photography firm in Nashville, is proud to announce that he has been honored by his peers with two Judges Choice Awards at the annual International Conference of the Professional Aerial Photographers Association (PAPA).

The International Photo competition was held in conjunction with the three-day Aerial Photographers conference, Feb. 8-10, 2007 in San Antonio, TX. The Judges Choice Award is one of the highest photography honors awarded at the association's international photo competition.

The image entitled "Silver Rails" is of Radnor Yard in Nashville and has also been placed in a traveling FAA Exhibit currently in Washington, DC. The second image, "BridgeWork" is of an interstate overpass under construction in the Franklin area. Both images were taken from an airplane.

"This winning photo of the interchange is one of my favorite shots," said Paul Cardel. "I am honored that my photography was selected for such a high award by the community of my colleagues."
